2A3 2 Type 5930 aka 2A3W Vacuum Tubes RARE Vintage Ruggedized Audio Triodes Hickok TV-7D/U tests read 100 and 100. A reading of 38 is the minimum recommended. These 1950’s vintage Sylvania tubes were rebranded by United Electron in 1980 and promoted as 2A3W’s. These very ruggedized tubes have 5930 / 2A3W etching on the glass. The 5930 has a T-12 glass envelope and a large brown low-loss Micanol base. The base is 1-5/8 inches in diameter, so be sure there is room for these in your application.
