DeForest type 410 triode tube with box Made in the U.S. and of vintage production. Excellent testing and great sounding tube! Free from gas, shorts and grid emission. Appears and tests to have had little to no use. Comes with original box. Clean glass & pins. Excellent gettering. Hanging filaments. Bottom, hat getter. Tight base w/ no cracks. No large chunks inside. Tested on a calibrated TV-7D and at real operating voltages on an Amplitrex AT1000. Tubes operated 10 min ea. before tests to ensure stability. TV-7D test results: Tube #1: 71. Minimum good on TV-7D: 32. AT1000 test results: Tube #1, 1600 µmohs, 13.2 mA. Minimum for the 410- Gm: 1000 µmohs, 10 mA. Nominal new 410- Gm: 1600 µmohs, 17 mA. Tested parameters- 425v plate, -40v grid bias. In conclusion- This tests as an excellent tube. An excellent addition to anyone's collection.
