LED Color Organ Kit - CL3 - PCB & Parts - Low Voltage 12VDC or 9VAC Color Organ Kit for driving low voltage LED lamps or strips. Has 3 channels. Each channel responds to a certain portion of the audio spectrum. One for low pitches. One for high pitches. And one in between. Each channel can handle upto 750mA. Powered from 12VDC or 9VAC wallcubes. Current draw (amperes) are determined by the type and number of LEDs hooked up. A 5.5mm OD x 2.5mm ID power jack is provided, so wallcubes, with current capacities as low as 500mA upto 1.5A (1500mA) can be used to power it. You're not 'slaved' to the AC line, so power it from your car lighter jack ! Also, perfectly safe. Uses low voltage, from 12VDC or 9VAC wallcube. 500mA to 1.5A, depending on the how many LEDs are driven.
