NOTE REGARDING MY TESTING OF TUBES: All tubes which I sell, whether NOS or used, are tested either on a calibrated Hickok 750 mutual conductance tester, or, a calibrated Canadian Marconi MU-101 (which is a military upgraded Stark 9-66, Hickok designed) Before testing a used tube type, I will, whenever possible, test one or two NOS versions of the tube to create a benchmark value against which the used tube will be compared. This will ensure the validity of the test results on the particular tester I use. Percentage Gm if shown is the actual measured Gm compared to the average Gm published in the tester's roll chart. Except in rare cases, (which I will specify), I do not sell tubes which measure less than 70% of the average Gm for the tube type . In addition, all tubes are checked for heater-cathode leakage. If even a minute amount of leakage exists, the tube is discarded. The buyer is to be aware that their own tube tester may show different transconductance results than mine. All tubes I sell, whether U sed or N ew O ld S tock will function properly under normal conditions. SHIPPING-PACKAGING: NOS tubes are shipped in their original boxes, unless the box is badly damaged or the tube is bulk boxed. Otherwise, all tubes, used or new-old-stock will be shipped safely in white or tan boxes, or re-used boxes, never loose. See further shipping notes below.
