Sovtek EL84/6BQ5 Matched Quartet Date 1998 Purchased from MCM. Power tubes were matched at high output by the seller on a special matching setup. Tested with B&K747 which reads plate current. Readings are as follows: 106 105 104 105 Box was opened to test tubes for shorts Tested for transconductance with B&K 747 Good/green on meter is 65-120 100 meg ohm grid emission test Tube is allowed to heat and then gently tapped to check for mechanical shorts. No grid emission, gas, or mechanical shorts. Life test good This tester is set to factory specs and checked regularly. The item in the picture is the actual item that the buyer will receive.
