tested NOS new in original box, the brown you see is Cellutex (brown 1960s padding material stuck from box to transformer) vacuum tube amp power transformer (pulled from original box, looks like Cellutech insulation stuck to the transformer). 1.2V, and almost 200V out , 180VA watt output (180 volt amps) 3 wires marked 120V in (3 wires, one cut off isn't needed) output 130VCT and a 60VCT, in series, produce almost 200 volts great for running 4-six EL84
