Description
Welcome to ELC Audio Engineering and my eBay store. Please read the description carefully before bidding or asking questions. Shipping : eBay does NOT automatically adjust for the shipping cost of combined items. If you purchase multiple items that can be combined into a single shipment, please request an invoice so I can combine items and save you money. I charge for actual shipping only (i.e. no added fees) using eBay's shipping calculator. International bidders must use eBay's International shipping service. Please read [1] for additional shipping info. I do not use stock photos or canned descriptions. What you see in my photos is exactly what you're bidding on. I do not "borrow" photos from other sellers, nor do I use eBay's database. Other sellers have used my photos (noting I have zero affiliation with those sellers), and why I have added the tungsten (atomic symbol W) coffee mug for personal identification. If sellers aren't using their own photos, then you really don't know what you're buying or bidding on. Photos are an integral part of my descriptions: Please view all photos carefully. If something isn't clear, please ask before you bid. Please read the description carefully so you know exactly what you are bidding on . With very few exceptions, I do not accept returns. Read [2] for further details regarding this policy. Nothing in this listing is misleading--check my feedback as a seller [3]. Many thanks for keeping eBay a positive buying and selling experience! This listing is for a PAIR of Svetlana SV572-10 power triode vacuum tubes (or "valves" in that pseudo English speaking country). Also included with this auction is a sealed (never opened) copy of Glass Audio magazine that features the "SV572-10 Single-Ended Triode Amp" (Volume 12, Number 2, 2000). The article provides a lot of details, to include winding your own transformer for a SV572-10 amp. The two SV572-10 tubes have been taken out of their cartons (obviously), but both are UNUSED. Simply put, I never got around to building an amp around these awesome Svetlana tubes (they're on par with the 211, and offer advantages over the 211). The scans from GA magazine were made from a used copy (my copy, not for sale). The high bidder will receive a MINT, never opened issue of GA, Vol. 12, Number 2, year 2000. Please view all photos carefully, as they're better descriptors than my writing. Side: I am concurrently listing a pair of SE OPTs. The primary impedance of these transformers would work with the SV572-10, but I'd guess the current draw of the mighty SV572-10 would exceed these transformers' intended purpose (they're better suited for smaller power triodes, such as the VT25). Reminder: International buyers must choose eBay's International Shipping Service. Thank you for viewing! [1] I pack items with great care--the same way I'd like to receive a delicate or valuable item. Like other sellers, I do not have control over shipping costs or carrier delivery time. Small- and medium-sized items will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Larger parcels will be shipped via FedEx Home or FedEx Ground. Unlike Jeff B, neither eBay nor I operate our own shipping services--this means no free, "prime", or overnight shipping (although I ship some items for free depending on size). [2] Why I no longer accept returns: In a few unfortunate incidences, bidders with buyer's remorse had intentionally damaged perfectly good equipment in order to receive a refund. In other instances, buyers were simply incompetent: Equipment was damaged because these buyers did not know how to properly use or handle it; yet, they wanted refunds because of the damage they had caused. Bottom line: No returns! If the wrong item is shipped or if their is a gross oversight on my part (I have yet to do either of these), I will promptly refund or exchange the item and pay for return shipping. Please understand what you're buying is USED unless it's clearly stated as new. [3] I'm batting 100% positive feedback after nearly two decades of buying and selling on eBay*. I kindly leave positive feedback for those who do the same. Prior to my current username, I had over 1500 combined selling and buying reviews with 100% positive feedback. *(I changed my username since starting on eBay in order to reflect my current business.) I do not entertain best offers, nor do I end auctions early. Item will be sold to the high bidder (heck, a single bidder might get a fantastic deal). Items not paid for after 72 hours will be re-listed.
